A place to set some of it down

There is room here for everything you’ve been holding.

Life doesn’t always turn out the way we expected. Sometimes we find ourselves in a season we never imagined. You may be the person others count on: capable, driven, and used to holding everything together, while quietly feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unlike yourself.

Maybe your mind rarely slows down. You set high expectations for yourself, replay what you could have done or said differently, or feel like no matter how much you accomplish, it is never quite enough. A relationship may have left you questioning yourself, caregiving may have taken over your life, or a loss or change may have made everything feel unfamiliar.

Therapy can be a place to set some of that down. You don’t have to arrive with the right words or have everything figured out. Together, we can understand what has been weighing on you, make room for your own needs, and find a way forward that feels more grounded, hopeful, and like you.

You don’t have to carry it all alone.

Ways I can support you

Care for the parts of life that feel hardest to carry alone.

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I’ll take time to understand who you are, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we’ll shape our sessions around your needs, your pace, and what feels most helpful to you.

01

Anxiety & Stress

Quiet the mental noise, understand your patterns, and build steadier ways to respond to stress.

02

Relationships & Boundaries

Communicate more clearly, recognize unhealthy dynamics, and make room for your own needs.

03

Parenthood & Caregiving

Find support for the invisible load, identity shifts, guilt, and exhaustion that can come with caring for others.

04

Grief

Make space for loss and move through grief at your own pace, without pressure to have it all figured out.

05

Life Transitions

Find steadiness through changes in your identity, relationships, roles, or direction.

06

Trauma

Gently make sense of what you’ve lived through and find ways to feel safer, steadier, and more connected to yourself.

What can change

Things can feel lighter than they do right now.

Our work can help you move from surviving each week to feeling more grounded, connected, and able to choose what comes next.

  • Notice anxiety without letting it run the day
  • Set boundaries without drowning in guilt
  • Understand your needs and communicate them
  • Build routines that are realistic, not punishing
  • Feel more present in your relationships and life

Meet your therapist

Hi, I’m Mindy Triplehorn, LPCC.

I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can be honest about what’s hard and feel genuinely understood. My style is down-to-earth and thoughtful. We’ll make room for your story, notice the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and explore changes that can help life feel more manageable.

You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a perfectly defined goal. We can start with what’s weighing on you and figure out the next step together.

You can expect me to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge you when it may help. Most of all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and know that our sessions will be shaped around what you need, at a pace that feels right for you.

What to expect

Starting therapy can be simple.

1

Reach out

Request a session through the secure client portal. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

2

Meet securely online

We’ll connect by private telehealth from wherever you are in Ohio, with no commute or waiting room.

3

Build a way forward

Together, we’ll focus on what matters to you and create realistic next steps you can carry into everyday life.

Insurance & fees

Clear information, before we begin.

I currently accept Aetna, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, and Medical Mutual. If I’m in network with your plan and you have a copay, you may pay only that copay for each session, which is often much less than the full self-pay fee. Your exact cost depends on your plan and whether you have a deductible to meet.

Initial assessment$175
Ongoing 55-minute session$150

The rates above are for clients paying without insurance. With in-network insurance, you may pay only your copay, which is often much lower. Please check your plan for your exact cost.

Frequently asked

A few things you may be wondering.

Is telehealth right for me?

Many adults appreciate the privacy and flexibility of meeting from home. You’ll need to be physically located in Ohio during sessions and have a private space with a reliable internet connection.

Do you offer Christian counseling?

Yes, when you want it. Faith can be thoughtfully integrated into our work, but it is never assumed or required. You decide whether and how it is included.

What insurance do you accept?

I currently accept Aetna, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, and Medical Mutual. Because benefits differ between plans, confirming your coverage directly with your insurer is always a good idea.

What does therapy cost?

Without insurance, the fee is $175 for an initial assessment and $150 for an ongoing 55-minute session. If I’m in network with your insurance plan, you may pay only your copay, which is often much less than the full session fee. Your exact cost depends on your benefits and deductible.

What if I’m in crisis?

This practice and website are not emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

You can start where you are

You don’t have to keep carrying so much on your own.

When you’re ready, I’d be glad to help you take the next step.
